Not so long ago, many indigenous societies were
matriarchal rather than patriarchal. To this day there is an understanding and
honoring of the true feminine in indigenous beliefs and traditions that most of
our more modern societies have lost.
What does indigenous wisdom have to teach us about
being empowered as women? How can we embrace the earth based mysteries of the
feminine and bring them back into our daily lives? What effect will it have on
the world at large if we do.
